- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in bell pepper and carrots, cooking for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Pour in teriyaki sauce and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon turkey mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crunch, add chopped water chestnuts or diced cucumber. Use low-sodium teriyaki sauce to control saltiness.
