Thanksgiving Dip Sandwich

  • Author: Crystal
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 sandwiches 1x

Description

This Thanksgiving Dip Sandwich is the ultimate way to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers — stacked with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and melty cheese on crusty bread, then dipped in warm gravy like a French dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 hoagie rolls or crusty sandwich buns
  • 1 ½ cups leftover turkey, sliced or shredded
  • 1 cup stuffing
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 slices provolone or Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ½ cups leftover gravy (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the hoagie rolls and lightly toast them if desired.
  3. Layer the bottom halves with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
  4. Top with the other half of the roll and spread butter on the tops of the rolls.
  5. Wrap each sandwich in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  7. While the sandwiches bake, heat the gravy in a saucepan or microwave until hot.
  8. Serve sandwiches with a side of hot gravy for dipping, like a French dip.

Notes

Perfect for using up leftovers — customize with mashed potatoes or green beans if desired.
