- 3 pounds russet or Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup whole milk (warmed)
- 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions
- Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold salted water.
