Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices and fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or ziplock bag and pour the marinade over.
  3. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  5. Remove salmon from marinade and grill skin-side down for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Flip carefully and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  7. Serve with lemon slices and garnish with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

Let the salmon rest a few minutes after grilling to keep it juicy. For best flavor, don’t skip the marination step!
