Description

Juicy, flavorful Traeger smoked chicken breasts infused with BBQ rub and sweet heat sauce for a delicious smoked meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 pound each)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Traeger Chicken Rub
  • 3 tbsp Traeger Sweet and Heat Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Traeger grill to 225°F.
  2. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil.
  3. Generously season each chicken breast with Traeger Chicken Rub.
  4. Place the chicken directly on the grill grates.
  5. Smoke the chicken for 60-75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Brush each breast with Traeger Sweet and Heat Barbecue Sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra juiciness, consider brining the chicken breasts for a few hours before smoking.
