- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 12 slices of bacon
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and ketchup. Mix until just combined.
- Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray or lightly grease with oil.
- Line each muffin cup with a slice of bacon, pressing it around the sides.
- Spoon the meat mixture into each bacon-lined cup, pressing down slightly.
- Top each with a small dollop of ketchup.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the bacon is crisp.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before removing from the tin.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
You can prepare these in advance and freeze them for a quick weeknight meal. Feel free to add shredded cheese or chopped veggies for added flavor and texture.
