Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl.
- In large bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and food coloring.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until fully combined.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes in refrigerator.
- Scoop 1-tbsp portions and roll into balls. Coat each ball generously in powdered sugar.
- Place balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes until set.
- Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
