Description

Create adorable Valentine’s Day Cookie Cups that will sweeten any celebration! These bite-sized treats feature a sugar cookie base cradling a creamy Hershey’s Hug center, finished with festive sprinkles. Perfect for classroom parties, romantic gestures, or any occasion that calls for edible love.


Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz sugar cookie mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • Pink/red food coloring
  • 2426 Hershey’s hugs, unwrapped
  • Decorative sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin
  2. In large bowl, combine cookie mix, melted butter, flour, and egg until dough forms
  3. Add 4-5 drops food coloring and mix until desired pink color is achieved
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and press into muffin cups
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
  6. Immediately press unwrapped Hugs into center of each cup
  7. Top with sprinkles while chocolate is still melted
  8. Cool completely in pan before removing

Notes

Tips: Don’t overfill cups – dough will rise during baking. For easier removal, run butter knife around edges after cooling.

Substitutions: Use white chocolate kisses or caramel-filled chocolates for variety. Gluten-free cookie mix works well too!

Storage: Keep in airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Freeze unbaked dough balls for up to 3 months.
