Description

Sweet and buttery heart-shaped cookies filled with apricot jam, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day with a homemade touch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  6. Cut heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  7. Place cookies on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Add a small spoon of apricot jam to the center of each heart.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Let cool before serving.
