- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped) OR Valentine’s M&Ms
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl.
- In large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
- Place cookies 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.
- Immediately press chocolate or candy into center of each cookie. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
