Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  7. Spread batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For a fudgier texture, slightly underbake and let cool completely before slicing.
