- 1 jar (16 oz) salsa
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
- Pour the entire jar of salsa over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning packet over the top of each breast.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
