Description
Crispy air fryer chicken wings coated in a smoky-sweet peach bourbon BBQ sauce, perfect for game day or any gathering.

- 4 Pounds chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
- Rub:
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 Tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon ground mustard
- BBQ Sauce:
- 1 Cup ketchup
- 1 Cup peach preserves
- 1/3 Cup brown sugar
- 1/3 Cup bourbon or whiskey
- 2 Tablespoon molasses
- 1/4 Cup onion, finely minced
- 1 Teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 Teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken wings dry and toss with rub ingredients until well coated.
- Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- While wings cook, combine all BBQ sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Remove wings from air fryer and toss with warm BBQ sauce until coated.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, let the seasoned wings rest in the fridge uncovered for at least 1 hour before air frying.
