Description

Crispy baked chicken coated in a golden Parmesan and breadcrumb crust, perfect for a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 chicken pieces
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken pieces dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place milk in a shallow bowl for dipping.
  4. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Dip each chicken piece in milk, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the coated chicken to help crisp the crust.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the coating is golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
