Quick and flavorful BBQ chicken sliders served on sweet Hawaiian rolls with melted cheddar and crisp veggies.

- 1 (12 pack) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 2 cups boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1/2 cup sugar free BBQ sauce
- 5 slices Sargento ultra thin mild cheddar slices
- 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Add shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper; sauté 3-4 minutes.
- Warm each Hawaiian roll in the skillet for about 1 minute per side.
- Layer a slice of cheddar on the bottom half of each roll.
- Top with a spoonful of the chicken mixture and a few red onion slices.
- Drizzle sugar free BBQ sauce over the filling and close with the top bun.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, brush the buns with a little melted butter before toasting.
