Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  3. Stir in rice and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until rice is tender.
  6. Stir in frozen peas and cook for 5 more minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve warm.
