Description
A moist, sweet banana bread made with just three main ingredients, perfect for using up overripe bananas.

- 5 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2–1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
- Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold in the self-rising flour until just combined.
- If using, fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a nutty twist, add chopped walnuts.
