Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Whisk in the Greek yogurt, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and milk until the mixture is creamy.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice; whisk to blend.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until incorporated; fold in any optional add‑ins if desired.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50‑55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack; dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use very ripe bananas and do not overmix the batter.
