- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until soft and translucent.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Drain excess fat if needed, then add chopped cabbage.
- Season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
You can use mozzarella or Monterey Jack in place of cheddar for a different cheesy twist.
