Description

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter to create the cinnamon filling.
  5. Pour pancake batter onto a hot griddle and swirl in the cinnamon mixture.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden.
  7. For the glaze, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the warm pancakes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use a piping bag to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the pancakes.
