Description
A hearty, tangy sandwich featuring tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, and a zesty mustard spread on toasted rye bread.
Ingredients

- 8 oz corned beef, sliced
- 4 slices rye bread
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 leaf lettuce
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 tsp mayonnaise
Instructions
- Spread mustard on one side of each rye bread slice.
- Layer corned beef evenly on two slices, spreading slightly.
- Place Swiss cheese on top of the corned beef.
- Add lettuce and tomato if using.
- Close the sandwiches with the buttered side down in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a thin layer of mayonnaise before grilling.
