Ingredients

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, whisking to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately over pasta, grilled chicken, or steamed vegetables.
Notes
For extra depth, add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of white wine before the cream.
