Description

Crispy oven baked chicken thighs with golden skin on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside, perfectly seasoned for an easy and flavorful meal.

  • 6 chicken thighs with skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish, skin side up.
  4. Brush the chicken with olive oil.
  5. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Season the chicken evenly with the spice mixture.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  8. Rotate the pan halfway through cooking for even browning.
  9. Broil for an additional 5 minutes if needed to achieve extra crispy skin.
  10. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, place the chicken thighs on a wire rack set over the baking dish so the fat can drip away during baking.
