  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and lemon zest.
  4. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over each chicken fillet.
  5. Press panko breadcrumbs onto the seasoned side of each fillet to create a crispy crust.
  6. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, crumb-coated side up.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden brown.
