Description

A comforting slow-cooked chicken and rice dish with tender carrots and aromatic garlic.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillet
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken fillet with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Place the chicken, rice, carrots, onion, and garlic powder in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
  4. Dot the top with butter.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken and stir to combine before serving.
