Description

Fluffy Hawaiian rolls paired with savory sausage, melted cheese, and fluffy scrambled eggs, finished with a hint of maple syrup for a sweet-savory breakfast treat.


Ingredients

  • King’s Hawaiian rolls (6 pieces)
  • 6 slices Colby Jack cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • minced chives
  • 8 turkey sausage patties
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and set the tops aside.
  2. Cook the turkey sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side; transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, add the melted butter and pour in the eggs, scrambling gently until soft and slightly runny, about 2-3 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble each slider: place a bottom roll half, add a sausage patty, a slice of Colby Jack cheese, a spoonful of scrambled eggs, sprinkle shredded cheddar and minced chives, then top with the roll lid.
  5. Drizzle a small amount of maple syrup over each assembled slider.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

You can substitute pork sausage patties if desired; for extra sweetness, add an additional drizzle of maple syrup.
