Description

Juicy bone-in chicken thighs cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of paprika. Perfect for a comforting family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until golden, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside on a plate.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  6. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  7. Sprinkle paprika over the garlic and stir for another 10 seconds.
  8. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  9. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon some sauce over them.
  10. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  11. Remove the lid, increase heat to high, and cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  12. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in garlic and paprika for 30 minutes before cooking.
