- 12 oz gluten-free penne pasta
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the gluten-free penne pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, turkey sauce mixture, ricotta, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
