- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef, breaking it up, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in garlic, ginger, and mushrooms; cook for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth in a small bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat.
- Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Season with black pepper and garnish with sliced green onions.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
