Description

This easy and hearty Ground Beef and Potatoes skillet is the perfect weeknight comfort meal—savory, satisfying, and made with simple pantry staples.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  5. Return cooked potatoes to the skillet. Season with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir everything together and cook for another 3–4 minutes to combine flavors.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

You can add diced bell peppers or shredded cheese for extra flavor. Perfect as a one-pan meal or a side dish!
