- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Return cooked potatoes to the skillet. Season with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together and cook for another 3–4 minutes to combine flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
You can add diced bell peppers or shredded cheese for extra flavor. Perfect as a one-pan meal or a side dish!
