Description
Juicy, cheesy sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for a quick family dinner or party snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (dinner rolls, stuck together)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon parsley, fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked.
- Add the diced onion, salt, and garlic to the beef; cook until the onion softens, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in the BBQ sauce and let it simmer for 2 minutes, coating the meat evenly.
- Preheat a grill or skillet to medium heat.
- Brush the cut sides of the Hawaiian rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Place the buttered rolls, cut side down, on the grill for 1 minute until lightly toasted.
- Assemble each slider: place a generous spoonful of the cheesy beef mixture on the bottom half of a roll, top with a slice of cheddar, then close with the top roll.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of smoked paprika or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.
