Description

Quick and flavorful tacos made with seasoned ground beef, cheesy lettuce wraps, and crisp taco shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water, cook 1 minute.
  4. Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  5. Layer beef mixture onto shells, then top with lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.
  6. Serve immediately with extra salsa if desired.

Notes

Add a squeeze of lime juice for extra brightness.
