Description

Quick and delicious tacos made with seasoned ground turkey, served in tortillas with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 small taco shells or tortillas
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground turkey, onion, and garlic over medium heat until turkey is browned. Drain if needed.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Warm taco shells or tortillas.
  4. Spoon turkey mixture into shells and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas and top with avocado slices.
