Description

These sweet and savory Hawaiian ham and cheese sliders are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick weeknight snack. Made with buttery rolls, melty Swiss cheese, and a honey‑Dijon glaze, they bring a taste of the islands to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half
  • 1 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture generously onto the cut sides of the Hawaiian rolls.
  4. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom halves of the rolls, then close with the top halves.
  5. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 12‑15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Tip: For a gluten‑free version, use gluten‑free rolls. Substitute turkey ham for a lighter option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; reheat briefly before serving.
