Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 11 slices Colby Jack cheese or American cheese
- 1 large sweet onion, diced
- 24 dill pickle slices
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1.5 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons pickle juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- lettuce leaves (optional)
- tomato slices (optional)
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, salt, cracked pepper, and 2 tablespoons butter; mix gently and form into 12 equal patties.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium‑high heat; add remaining butter and sear patties 3‑4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Split Hawaiian rolls and lightly toast the cut sides in the same pan.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and cayenne pepper to make the Easy Burger Sauce.
- Assemble each slider: spread sauce on the bottom half of a roll, add a cheesy patty, a few pickle slices, a leaf of lettuce, a tomato slice if using, then top with the roll lid.
- Serve immediately while hot and melty.
