  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 11 slices Colby Jack cheese or American cheese
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 24 dill pickle slices
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons pickle juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • lettuce leaves (optional)
  • tomato slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, salt, cracked pepper, and 2 tablespoons butter; mix gently and form into 12 equal patties.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium‑high heat; add remaining butter and sear patties 3‑4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  3. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. Split Hawaiian rolls and lightly toast the cut sides in the same pan.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and cayenne pepper to make the Easy Burger Sauce.
  6. Assemble each slider: spread sauce on the bottom half of a roll, add a cheesy patty, a few pickle slices, a leaf of lettuce, a tomato slice if using, then top with the roll lid.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and melty.
