  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil if needed.
  4. Place the chicken pieces in the skillet, skin side down, and sear for 4‑5 minutes until browned.
  5. Flip the chicken and pour the honey garlic sauce over the pieces.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook for 15‑20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  7. If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water and stir into the sauce to thicken further.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top.
  9. Garnish with extra minced garlic or fresh herbs if desired.
