Description

Fluffy, lightly sweet pancakes made with honey and butter for a delightful breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl beat eggs, honey, melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 minutes.
  6. Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruit, maple syrup, or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra flavor.
