- 4 chicken fillets (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.
- Add chicken fillets and toss to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
