Description
A quick and delicious slider with sweet Hawaiian rolls, savory turkey, crispy bacon, and melted Swiss cheese, all enhanced with a maple-Dijon sauce.

- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp dried minced onion
- ½ lb deli turkey breast sliced thin
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 10 slices maple bacon
- ½ stick unsalted butter
- smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook 10 slices of maple bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels and crumble.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and dried minced onion to make a sauce.
- Melt ½ stick unsalted butter and stir in a pinch of smoked paprika.
- Brush the melted butter mixture onto the cut sides of the Hawaiian rolls and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
- Place rolls cut-side up on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Split the rolls and spread sauce on the bottom half of each roll.
- Add a slice of Swiss cheese to 8 of the sliders (the remaining 4 will not have cheese).
- Top with 2-3 slices of turkey breast and crumbled bacon.
- Add a dollop of additional sauce if desired, then cover with the top half of the roll.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use fresh Hawaiian rolls and cook the bacon until very crispy. The sauce can be made ahead of time.
