Description

A hearty and flavorful sandwich made with slices of juicy meatloaf, melted cheese, and tangy sauce pressed between crispy toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of cooked meatloaf
  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • 2 slices of provolone or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup or barbecue sauce
  • Optional: caramelized onions or pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice butter side down, then layer with cheese, meatloaf slices, sauce, and optional toppings.
  4. Top with the second bread slice, butter side up.
  5. Grill in the panini press or skillet for 3–4 minutes per side until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Slice in half and serve hot.

Notes

Use leftover meatloaf for a quick and easy lunch. Try adding extra barbecue sauce for more flavor.
