Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter, eggs, and milk until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl whisk together all-purpose flour, oat flour, old-fashioned rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For extra moisture, use frozen bananas that are fully defrosted; you can also add chopped nuts for added crunch.
