Moist banana bread infused with chocolate chips, made in a single bowl for easy cleanup.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- salt, to taste
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add baking soda and a pinch of salt, mixing until just incorporated.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour until the batter is just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and ground cinnamon.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy.
Notes
For best texture, let the batter rest for 5 minutes before baking. You can also add walnuts or swap chocolate chips for raisins.
