- 1 package Hawaiian rolls (about 12 rolls)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package sliced pepperoni (about 12 slices)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Grated parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice each Hawaiian roll horizontally, leaving a hinge.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom half of each roll.
- Layer 2-3 pepperoni slices on the sauce, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Close the rolls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, buttered side up.
- Melt butter with Italian seasoning and brush over the tops; sprinkle optional grated parmesan.
- Bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden; serve warm.
