- ½ lb roast beef deli meat, thinly sliced
- 9 slices white American or Swiss cheese
- 9 Hawaiian slider buns
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Mix butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion salt, and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, leaving a hinge on one side to open like a book.
- Spread a thin layer of the butter mixture on the cut sides of each bun.
- Layer a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with 2-3 slices of roast beef.
- Close the buns and place them butter-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until the cheese melts and the buns are golden brown.
- Transfer sliders to a plate and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of honey mustard before serving. Keep leftovers refrigerated and reheat in a skillet for best texture.
