Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium‑high heat.
- Add salmon, skin‑side down, and sear for 4 minutes until golden.
- Flip salmon and cook another 3 minutes; remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add garlic to the pan; sauté 30 seconds.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Return salmon to the skillet; spoon sauce over fillets and simmer 2 minutes.
- Finish with lemon zest and garnish with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half‑and‑half for the cream.
