A fun and festive layered taco dip decorated with a sour cream spiderweb, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream (plus extra for decorating)
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions and set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, and salsa until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Layer the seasoned ground beef on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
- Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and black olives as toppings.
- Fill a piping bag (or plastic bag with tip cut off) with sour cream and pipe a spiderweb design on top of the dip.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
For extra spookiness, place a plastic spider on top before serving (remove before eating). Best served chilled.
