A rich and nutty twist on the classic Thanksgiving dessert, this pecan pie features the deep, buttery flavor of Brazil nuts for an unforgettable finish to your holiday meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup chopped Brazil nuts
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Stir in the pecans and Brazil nuts.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let the pie cool completely before serving to allow the filling to firm up.
  8. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

To prevent the crust from over-browning, cover the edges with foil halfway through baking if needed.
