Description

This Three-Layer Thanksgiving Cake is the ultimate holiday showstopper. Each savory layer—stuffing, turkey, and mashed potatoes—is stacked and frosted with creamy mashed potatoes, then topped with rich gravy. It’s your entire Thanksgiving dinner in one stunning slice.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups prepared stuffing
  • 4 cups cooked, shredded turkey
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (plus extra for frosting)
  • 1 cup turkey or chicken gravy
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (optional, for garnish)
  • Butter or oil, for greasing pans
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease three 8-inch cake pans and line with parchment paper.
  2. Press stuffing into the first pan, turkey into the second, and mashed potatoes into the third, smoothing the tops evenly.
  3. Bake all layers for 20–25 minutes, or until heated through and slightly golden on top.
  4. Let layers cool slightly, then carefully remove from pans.
  5. On a serving plate, layer stuffing on the bottom, followed by turkey, then mashed potatoes.
  6. Use additional mashed potatoes as ‘frosting’ to cover the sides and top of the cake.
  7. Drizzle gravy over the top and garnish with cranberry sauce and chopped parsley if desired.
  8. Slice and serve warm with extra gravy on the side.

Notes

Make layers ahead of time and assemble just before serving. You can also use boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, or rotisserie chicken in a pinch.
