- 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Simmer uncovered for 20‑25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
