Ingredients

  • maple syrup (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter to melt.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  4. Cook the coated bread in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining slices.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup and additional butter if desired.

Notes
